A hands-on introduction to Flutter for cross-platform Android and iOS app development
The Department of Computer Engineering, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, hosted a Flutter Workshop on April 7, 2025, focusing on Android and iOS app development. The workshop aimed to provide practical exposure to Flutter, Google’s modern framework for cross-platform app creation, for 95 students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years.
The session covered Flutter setup, Dart programming basics, UI building, navigation, and state management. Coordinated by Dr. Pallavi Wankhede, Prof. Priti Bhagat, and student coordinators from the ACM team, the workshop sparked enthusiasm and equipped students with skills for mobile app development.
